April Art Dump
Ok actual REAL first blog post…..
It was my mom’s birthday recently and I had this horribly brilliant idea to make a little plush of our dog who died last year as a gift. I have never sewn anything more than a loose button so I was kind of losing my mind trying to figure out how to stitch everything together. I think I eventually got the hang of it though! It only took like..3 attempts, but I was pretty proud of myself. I think she ended up liking it too! When she got it though she told me she reconsidered getting a new dog which was not my intention, but I guess that also means it kind of resembled her so yay! but also omfg I did nawt mean to elicit such a reaction FAWWKK
My first attempt. I fucked up the stitching so she looks pretty rough...but kinda charming in a way?
Final! I think the snout could've been longer but it was like 4am and I wanted to sleep lol
Gouache Practice
I haven’t painted in like a year(?) so I was kind of afraid to touch gouache again because what if I lost all my super epic incredible painting skillz………honestly I kind of did LOL but that is the reality of not practicing for a year. I’ll just have to paint a million more so here’s to hoping I stay somewhat consistent.
